Privacy Policy
This page explains how Solea collects, uses, protects, and stores personal data across the website, mobile app, and Solea Pro tools.
1. Data controller
SOLEA VIP (entrepreneur individuel, SIRET 102 073 954 00012, 23 Allée de Crespières, 78860 Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche, France) is the data controller for personal data collected through the Solea website, the Solea mobile app, and Solea Pro partner services.

2. Data we collect
We may collect identification and contact data you provide directly, including name, email, phone number, city, date of birth, profile photos, music preferences, and support or partner enquiry details.
When you use the app or Solea Pro, we may also process account data, event participation data, guest-list and ticket data, partner relationship data, device and usage data, and analytics needed to operate the service securely and reliably.
When you purchase a ticket in the app, we process transaction metadata such as event ID, ticket quantity, amounts paid (ticket price, SOLEA service fees, payment processing fees), payment status, refund status, and timestamps of your acceptance of purchase terms. We do not store full card numbers: card data is entered directly into Stripe’s secure payment interface.
3. Why we use your data
We use personal data to operate the product, authenticate users, issue and manage tickets and guest-list requests, process payments and refunds, respond to support requests, review venue partnership enquiries, send service-related notifications, improve service quality, prevent fraud, and comply with legal and accounting obligations.
We only use the minimum information needed for each operational purpose and do not sell personal data.
4. Legal bases
Depending on the use case, our legal bases under the GDPR include: performance of a contract (account, ticketing, payments), legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform, consent where required (for example optional marketing communications), and compliance with legal obligations (tax, accounting, and payment regulations).
Before completing an in-app ticket purchase, you must accept the applicable refund policy and purchase terms displayed at checkout.
5. Payment processing (Stripe)
In-app ticket payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. and/or Stripe, Inc. acting as payment service provider. SOLEA VIP does not receive or store your full card number, CVC, or PIN.
Stripe may process payment identifiers, billing country, transaction amounts, fraud-prevention signals, and device data necessary to authorize and settle payments. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
Where an event organizer uses Stripe Connect, ticket proceeds may be routed to the organizer’s connected Stripe account according to the transaction structure shown at checkout. SOLEA may retain service-fee and transaction metadata for receipts, support, refunds, and accounting.
6. Third-party services
SOLEA relies on trusted providers needed to run the product, including:
Apple and Google (sign-in, app distribution), Firebase / Google Cloud (authentication, database, hosting, messaging), Stripe (payments and Connect payouts), Railway (API hosting), OneSignal (push notifications when enabled), Resend or equivalent email delivery providers, and form or support tools used on the website.
These providers only receive data necessary to deliver the requested functionality and remain subject to their own privacy commitments, contractual safeguards, and applicable law.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, provider certifications, or equivalent mechanisms offered by those providers.
8. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for operational, contractual, security, accounting, or legal purposes.
Account and profile data are kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized after a confirmed deletion request, subject to legal exceptions.
Payment and ticket records may be retained longer where required for refunds, dispute handling, anti-fraud, and legal or tax obligations (typically up to the statutory limitation periods applicable in France).
When data is no longer necessary, we delete it or anonymize it where appropriate.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of processing for your personal data. You may also object to certain processing activities or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.
In the Solea mobile app, you can export your data and request account deletion from Settings → Data & Privacy. Deletion may be delayed if you hold upcoming paid tickets until refunds are resolved or the events have passed.
You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In France, this is the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
10. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, loss, or alteration. Payment card data is handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS standards; SOLEA does not store card numbers on its own servers.
